Top 10 bizarre diets

Many students wanted an effective way to lose weight. Everything possible was tried so they could look better in shape. Here are the top 10 unusual weight loss trick that tried by SEGI Students to drop pounds. These may sound and look crazy but they could actually work on you.



#1 Apple Diet


“An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. An apple only contains less than 200 calories and they are rich in minerals, vitamins and fibre that help to detox and cleanse your colon to improve nutrient absorption. All you have to do is eat nothing but apples for a 3 day period.

#2 Banana Plan

Bananas are rich in vitamins and carbohydrates that help to energize our body. Replace bananas with your meal for 7 days. It is hard to achieve real visible result through this method but you’ll at least feel your body refreshed after all.  

#3 Fruit “Puasa”

The word “puasa” of the method means “fasting”. With zero consumption of rice, meat, and vegetables but only fruits and you’ll feel that you’re mentally lighter if it’s only lasted for a day.

#4 Vegetarian

Consume only vegetables for a week but nothing else for a week. Student had physically lost ½ kg during the week after. If you wanted to look slimmer, try this out.

#5 Water Diet

Plenty of water is taken in an attempt to lose weight. Weight loss will be exceedingly high since the calories are expelling and not taking in. However, student eventually gave up due to long hours suffering from hunger. This method is not advisable as total absence of food would cause a lot of serious side effects.

#6 Cling Warp

Cling warp is used to wrap on our abdomen to achieve the desire of weight loss. Apparently this method has less effectiveness.

#7 One Meal a day


Keep the practice of one meal a day for two months. One of the students was happy and proud with her 10kg loss result by insisting only one meal a day.

#8 Eat more to lose weight

What you eat shaped who you are. You can eat as many as you want but make sure you took the adequate amount of nutrition. Student had lost around 5kg in a year by taking the right nutrition, why not if you can eat more to lose weight?

#9 Take Japanese Green Tea


Because of boyfriend complaining, she insists to take Japanese green tea after every meal to help expel oils out of the food and body. After keeping this practice for three weeks, she finally gave up because it was not effective and the boyfriend is still complaining.

#10 Take 5-6 small meal a day


Take 5 to 6 small meal instead of three heavy meals a day to prevent hunger. Eat small meals helps to consume fewer calories and keep yourself feeling full longer.
