“If I could take
you to one place, Elizabeth,
To one very
special place,
I would take you
to my heart.”
-Tim

Where do you
want to take your loved ones on this Valentine’s Day, now
looming around the corner?
Instead of doing the conventional dinner dates, why
not get the pair of you some flight tickets?! Of course, this is if you’re in
your budget’s good books. No idea where to go? Here are some suggestions from some
other couples in celebrating this big day elsewhere:
1. Venice,
Italy
Unique
canals, tons of rivers, and extraordinary architectures make up this beautiful
city. “It will be so romantic riding the gondola with my love, sightseeing the
beauty of the city and enjoying the moment, just two of us - imagine the world
left only you and I…” said Jenny as she looked into her man’s eyes.

2. Paris,
France
Paris
- the City of Love. There is no doubt that this is one of the most romantic
cities in the world. Made famous by its’ Eifel Tower and the cultured art of
living mastered by the French, Paris has won the hearts of many a damsel. The
café, museums, food, fashion, parks… Need I say more?

3. Kyoto,
Japan
The beautiful landscape and
ancient museums made Kyoto be one of the popular choice for couples. Especially
Teradaya, which hosted a true and famous love story. “I would like to try the
sightseeing train in Kyoto, sitting side-to-side with my girlfriend and enjoy
the beautiful scene of Kyoto, and of course to taste the love in the air,” said
Jeffery, whose tough exterior hides his oh-so-cute romanticism.

4.
Nami Island, South Korea
Winter Sonata, a very famous Korean
drama which touched a lot of people was filmed in this charming island more
than 30 times. The most romantic scene is when the couple walking along the
road, flanked by rows of tree with a confetti of leaves. “I can’t wait to
stroll down that street with my hand in yours - almost like we are in the
movies ourselves…” says Leonorah, not without giving her husband a hinting
flutter of lashes.

5. Bali,
Indonesia
Hot sun, beach, blue
sky…Bali is one of the most beautiful islands in the world and cause many
couples to have their honeymoons and weddings here. Snorkelling, diving, and
walking along the beach, and romantic scenes that always appear on telenovelas.
Enjoy the heat and bask in it!

6. A
deserted island
Yes,
a deserted island, I know it is extreme but this where the whole world fades
out and it feels like it consists of only the two of you and your surroundings.
Watching the sun begin and end its daily trajectory, skinny-dipping in the ocean,
feeding each other fruits freshly plucked from the tree…It’s almost too
romantic! But back to the reality, a vacation that is cut-off from the rest of
the world is a super big challenge, and (here’s a shocker!) there will be no Wi-Fi,
Facebook, or online shopping sites!! However, finding an uninhabited island
might be the greater task - right after ensuring that the two of you are not at
each others’ throats for the duration of the stay, of course.

Decide now and
book a flight ticket for your beloved and yourself. Forget your stressors,
enjoy and take your time in making this Valentine’s Day become the most special
and memorable one ever.
